The 1st Asian Youth Games was held in Singapore from June 29 to July 7, 2009 in over 90 sporting events.

The 2nd Asian Youth Games was held in Nanjing, China from Aug. 16 to 24, 2013. The closing ceremony was held on Aug. 24.

The Asian Youth Games, also known as AYG, is a multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia.
